I don’t know where this year has gone! Do you? It’s already mid-summer here in the northern hemisphere, and it seems like it should just be spring!

Here’s the latest in the continuing saga of homophones that make too many writers look “less than,” because the words sound alike (or nearly so, anyway), and we often forget there are others that might the one we should be using.

I learned three new words just putting this edition together: immerge, elusion, and impassible. Now if they’d only show up in a crossword puzzle (and if I could remember their definitions), I’d feel really smart!
