Today is July 3, the day before the American Independence Day. The fireworks will boom and dazzle us, lucky people will flock to the shores and family gatherings of all kinds, and many will fly flags and be grateful for our lives here.
For me, it’s also another day to share some humor — some relating to grammar or word usage — and to say how grateful I am that I have made some new acquaintances and friends around the world who read, comment, and share my posts (as I do theirs). Let’s keep the good feelings going every day from now on, OK?
A few examples of irony at its finest . . .
Clever, but maybe not smart.
So, no worries, right?
Aren’t we all?
Note the proper use of “loose”!
